According to Budaun police chief, Atul Saxena, a post-mortem report suggests the girls committed suicide. "But we will take into account all aspects before coming to a conclusion," Saxena said. He revealed that the head of Katra's police station had been suspended for not acting immediately when the girls' family complained they were missing. Saxena added that a team of about 50 police officers were on the lookout for the absconding accused. Though he could not confirm their exact ages, he said they were in their late teens.

Patience speaking on respect for elders said: "It is bad to abuse our country and the President because God has made him the head. "The Almighty God commands us to pray for our leaders. We therefore need to pray for the development of our country and the President. "Remember that a child that abuses his father and mother is disobeying God's commandment because the Bible says in Exodus 20:12 that you should honour your father and mother so that you may live long in the land that the Lord your God has given you."        Patience also encouraged Nigerians to be united, support the fight against terrorism and to encourage the soldiers in the search of the missing girls and assured Nigerians that the Federal Government was doing all within its powers to secure the release of the over 200 schoolgirls abducted from Chibok, Borno State.

The location of Abducted girls located by Nigerian Military.

The 276 schoolgirls that were kidnapped by Boko Haram insurgents at the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State, might have finally be discovered by the Nigeria Army. Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh, has stated that the security leadership has located where members of Boko Haram are holding the abducted girls who were kidnapped on April 14.
It was also stated that Badeh said the military would not use force to rescue the girls in order not to prevent the terrorists from killing them. The military boss was said to have made this statements while receiving a solidarity rally organised by the Citizens Initiative for Security Awareness, led by its National Coordinator, Mr. Chidi Omeze, outside the Defence Headquarters, Abuja on Monday. He also said that the Nigerian military had the capacity to bring back the abducted girls but are restrained because they do not want to use force.
He added that the military knew what it was doing and implored that Nigerians, and the world at large, should allow them to continue with their work. Adding that the military would not go and get the girls killed in desperation of bringing them back. He said: "We want our girls back,; we want our girls back; we can do it, our military can do it but where they are held, can we go with force? "If we go with force, what will happen? (they will kill them). So nobody should come and say the Nigerian military does not know what it is doing. We know what we are doing, we can't go and kill our girls in the name of trying to get them back. So we are working. "The good news for the girls is that we know where they are but we cannot tell you, we cannot come and tell you military secrets here. Just leave us alone, we are working, we would get the girls back."

Bayern Munich stops Arsenal again as Athletico Madrid progress smoothly

Arsenal and Bayern Munich play draw in the Alienz Arena as they held the Bavarians to a 1-1 draw in the Champions League on Tuesday but it was not enough to stop the title holders from reaching the quarterfinals 3-1 on aggregate comfortably.
Bastian Schweinsteiger scored in the 55th minute putting bayern ahead before Lukas Podolski scored a consalation goal in the Allianz Arena when he fired into the roof of the net two minutes later. It would be recalled that Bayern was defeated 2-0 in the second leg at the same stage of the competition last year but a repeat performance never looked plausible as Bastian Schweinsteiger put Pep Guardiola's side in front early in the second half. Javi Martinez had a goal disallowed for offside in the 26th minute and Robben had two dangerous efforts cut out by defenders as Bayern tried to turn the screw. Fabianski came to the rescue when he got down to save Mario Goetze's low shot seconds before the break.
Lukasz Fabianski, also saved Thomas Muller's stoppage-time penalty after Laurent Koscielny fowled Arjen Robben. The Bavarian giants went away on away goals against Wenger's men just last year but this was a far more comfortable victory as they won 3-1 on aggregrate just after 12 months.
Also,in Spain, Athletico Madrid sent four goals to stop seven times winners Ac milan from reaching the quarterfinals as they qualified on an aggregrate of 5 goals to 1. Diego Costa opened the goal scoring form 3 minutes into the game to put Athletico Madrid ahead only for Kaka to equalise in the 27th minutes with a header, before Arda Turan's deflected effort sailed past Christian Abbiati five minutes before halftime to restore the home team's lead. Raul Garcia scored a header in the 71st minute before Costa struck again in the 85th minutes.
Athletico Madrid and Bayern Munich will now await their fate on March 21,when the draws for the quarterfinals will be done.

What I told the Eagles at halftime-Keshi

Super Eagles Head Coach popularly known as "the Big Boss" in the post-match conference said he told his players that they were simply not playing their game.
“What I told them at half time was that we were not the one playing like that, I told them they were giving too much respect to the Moroccans. Even though they are a good team, they don’t deserve such from us, we are supposed to take our game to them and that is what they did in the second half. I told them I want to see the same character or more like they displayed in the game against Bafana Bafana and they did that,” he said.
Also,Chigozie Agbim,Super(CHAN)Eagles Captain, said his colleagues admitted they had a poor performance in the first half and made the decision to correct their mistakes in the second half. The goalkeeper also stated the players made a decision not to return home but wait for the final of the tournament and possibly lift the trophy.
This is not the first time of Keshi masterminding comebacks as he also did with the Eagles of Mali in 2010 to come back from four goals down to equalize 4-4 in an Africa Nations Cup match against Angola.  “Yes I remember the Mali game but this one today is something else,” the Eagles coach said.
We hope to see more of this "Big Boss",more especially in world cup, when losing.

Morocco goes home as Nigeria rides on!!

Super(CHAN)Eagles came back from three goals down in first half to defeat Morocco 4-3 after extra time in a thrilling CAF African Nations Championship(CHAN) quarterfinal at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday evening.
At halftime after suffering at the hands of the Atlas lions with 3 nil,the Super Eagles looked confused and disorganized. However, they fought back to take the game to extra time at 3-3 before substitute Aliyu Ibrahim took advantage of a goalkeeping error to score the winner on 111 minutes. It should be noted that a large number of the moroccan team plays for the Raja cassablanca that played against Bayern Munich in the world club final in which they were defeated 2-0,also play for their national team, not withstading this,Eagles defeated an experienced team to reach the semis to the surprise of every one.
Moutouali gave Atlas lions the lead in the 33rd minute, before Lajour made it double 4 minutes later.Moutouali then scored his second in the 40th minute. But early in the second half, when all have lost hope, the Super Eagles pulled a goal back through Ugonna Uzochukwu, who controlled a pass on his chest before sending a top-poked volley into the bottom corner of Nadir Lamyarghri’s net. The Super Eagles later reduced the deficit to 3-2 through Rabiu Ali, who latched onto a knock-down and fired home a shot from just inside the penalty area.
At this point, the Eagles started growing in confidence and kept pushing forward to look for the equaliser, but they had to wait until the 90th minute to finally equalise, when 3 consecutive man of the match,Ejike Uzoenyi cracked a shot into the goal via the underside of the crossbar to send the match into extra time, after beating his man. When it seems that the game would head for a penalty shoot-out, in second half extra time, substitute Ibrahim gave Nigeria the winner after Morocco goalkeeper and captain, Nadir Lamyaghri spilled an easy ball off Uzoenyi's cross. This is not the first time this is happening, coming from goals behind to carry the day, as we can easily remember saudi 1989 and atlanta 96 where we came goals down to defeat both brazil and argentina. That's the nigerian spirit!!!
Also,Group A top finishers,Eagles of Mali have been eliminated from the CHAN competition after they lost 2-1 to Zimbabwe in Cape town this evening. Nigeria will now wait for the outcome between Ghana and Dr Congo, quarterfinal fixture, the result determines who Super(CHAN)Eagles face in the Semifinal. Super Eagles performance tonight is what I term "doggedness".
       Congratulations to the Super Eagles!!!

Eto's hat-trick destroys Defending Champions,Manchester United at Stamford Bridge

Samuel Eto'o's hat-trick gave Chelsea a 3-1 win over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday that put pressure on the Premier League champions.

After the match,Moyes said:
"We did not deserve to be 2-0 down at halftime," Moyes told the BBC. "We had a little bit of bad luck with the first one (goal) but we can't blame anyone else but ourselves for the other two.
"We did not defend well enough and did not get a chance like Chelsea got to score, so we can only blame ourselves for that," the Scot added.
However, the manager insisted: "We will keep going. We showed a lot of good things today."
Victory left Jose Mourinho's Chelsea within two points of Arsenal.
"I think it is a big win and deserved, yes," Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho told the BBC. "They (United) started better than us, they had a good initiative.
"The second half was different. For 25-30 minutes we had very good control until we dropped back and they reacted with pride," explained the Portuguese boss.
"The second goal was the killer in the box I know from many years ago and it looks like Samuel Eto'o is coming back," added Mourinho, who managed the forward when they were both at Inter Milan.
Eto'o gave Chelsea a 17th minute lead when his shot from just outside the box deflected off Michael Carrick.
The Cameroon striker made it 2-0 on the stroke of halftime when he smashed the ball home from six yards out.United, without injured strikers Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie, were 3-0 behind four minutes after the interval when more lax defending from a set-piece allowed Cahill a free header.
Substitute,Javier Hernandez, on as a substitute for Ashley Young, gave the defending champions a consoling goal in the 78th minutes.
But that was as good as it got for United whose misery was compounded when captain Nemanja Vidic was sent off in stoppage time.

Also Spurs defeated Swansea by 3 goals to one with Emmanuel Adebayor scoring a brace in the 35th and 71st minutes respectively, and Chico scoring an own goal, before Wilfried Bony gave the Host a consoling goal in the 78th minutes.
After this game,Chelsea is ranked 3rd with 49 points behind Manchester City and Arsenal on 50 points and 51 points respectively.Defending Champions,Manchester United are 7th with 37 points and Spurs 5th on the log with 43 points.

CHAN Eagles crush Bafana Bafana dreams

Ejike Uzoenyi opened the scoring for Nigeria in the 22nd minute, when he connected Ifeanyi Ede's well laid pass from the left.
Ede made it 2-0 for Nigeria with a 32nd minute penalty after Gbolahan Salami was brought down by South Africa goalkeeper.
Nigeria goalkeeper Agbim denied South Africa a goal in the 61st minute, before Ejike Uzoenyi completed his brace in the 64th minute to give Nigeria 3-0 lead.

The Super(CHAN)Eagles began their campaign with a 2-1 loss to Mali and then fought back by winning an adventurous Mozambique side 4-2 on Wednesday night.
The victory sets up a final Group A match with South Africa on Sunday. Nigeria must win the game to ensure they make the quarterfinals, while a draw would be enough for Bafana Bafana to go through, even though Bafana Bafana will be hoping to end the dominance of Super Eagles on them.
When coming into the competitoin, Keshi had little time to work with a squad made up of domestic players from the Nigerian league, most of them with very little international experience than their conterparts in the competition, making it worse, the Nigeria Premier League has been on recess for a couple of months. This showed in their lacklustre performance which resulted to defeat to west African neighbours Mali.
However, it was a far more clinical and composed Super Eagles which scored two goals without return in the second half of the Mozambique match after it was 2-2 at half-time,before winning 4-2 at the end of the match.

CHAN Eagles first choice goal-keeper,Agbim asks for forgiveness.

Chigozie Agbim, the CHAN Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper, yesterday pleaded with Nigerians to forgive his poor performance so far at the ongoing CHAN Competition.
Agbim promised to do better in latter matches if given the chance to continue as the first choice goal-keeper.Agbim has not been at his best as the Super Eagles lost its first game 2-1 to the Eagles of Mali at the championship being hosted by South Africa. The goalkeeper also conceded two cheap goals as the Eagles defeated Mozambique 4-2 in its second group game.
"No goalkeeper in the world will be happy to concede cheap goals. For a keeper of my calibre, I am most disappointed than anyone else but that is football and I can't dwell in the past. I have to forget and plead with fans of the game to understand and forgive so that we can jointly forge ahead. I promise to do better next time and it's a promise I wish to keep,"he said.
The head coach, Stephen Keshi, defended Agbim saying:
"It's a team work and we cannot single out one individual for blame. We had a situation in the game against Mozambique when a player had an empty net and yet could not slot the ball in until the opposing defender cleared it. I have worked with Agbim now for two years plus and if he was not good, he will not be here. We must learn to understand our players and forgive errors, especially as he is the last man in the defence and his own errors are easily seen by all,"
The Super Eagles will play South Africa on Sunday in a do or die encounter at the CHAN Competition.

"God is the secret of my marriage"-Olu Jacobs

Nollywood Actor Olu Jacobs, who is married to Joke Silva in a recent interview revealed their secret for a great long lasting marriage.
"It is God. There are other forces outside that you need to take cognisance of. When you do, you have to make sure that they don't take control over your life. You are now thinking for two.
No decision you take should be for yourself alone. It is for two and it must remain for two. You have to always remember that. If my wife goes out and she finds out that she would not be able to make it back at the time she initially thought she would, she picks up the phone and calls me to tell me.
Fine! You are thinking for two, she knows where I am, I know where she is. We still do this till tomorrow. Communicating like that helps a lot.
Once we are talking, you have an idea of where I am and I have an idea of where you are. I am not saying that it should be calls every minute.
Sometimes, just being together in a room [and] not necessarily saying anything is also important,"he said.
Good for them. Many celebrities would be dieing to have a long lasting marriage like this.

"I created 1.6 million jobs in 2013"-Jonathan

Is this an election campaign statement to rebut those who say his government has failed? President Jonathan has in a New Year message to Nigerians rolled out a list of his "achievements" in the past year.

He claimed his government have been responsible for 1.6 million jobs in 2013 alone, but did not state categoritically where the jobs were filled.
"Our national budget for 2014 which is now before the National Assembly is specifically targeted at job creation and inclusive growth," he said.
"We are keenly aware that in spite of the estimated 1.6 million new jobs created across the country in the past 12 months as a result of our actions and policies, more jobs are still needed to support our growing population. Our economic priorities will be stability and equitable growth, building on the diverse sectors of our economy."
He did not say anything about the challenge of leading by example, and only referred to corruption and bad governance, which his critics claim he is nurturing in the country, in passing.

"I urge all Nigerians, no matter their stations in life, to rededicate themselves to contributing meaningfully to further enrich our national heritage. The time for that re-dedication is now, not tomorrow," he said, referring to the 2014 being Nigeria's centenary year.

Do you think his statement is misleading? There are a lot of graduates out there still seeking employments.

"There will be mayhem if Jonathan rigs the next election again"-Junaid

Dr. Junaid Mohammed said the President should jettison the idea of rigging the 2015 elections to favour himself, warning that there will be mayhem, if there was rigging.
Mohammed in an interview on Tuesday, said President Jonathan had failed in every critical area of governance, such as security, law and order which could win him a second term, saying he would be disgraced at the polls should he dare contest the election.
Mohammed, who is also a leading member of the Northern Elders Forum, said the north would not cast its vote for Jonathan.
He said: "I am not and I have never been a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. And I have never been a governor and I don't think I will be a governor in this world. But what I am saying is this: in a democracy, there is what we call performance legitimacy.
"That is if you are elected into a position of authority or power, your legitimacy does not only rest on your winning the election, but also in performing on the job so that people will say you have done well and may be in the mood to give you another term.
"As far as I am concerned, Jonathan did not win the last election. Goodluck has not performed in any manner credible that will warrant his being re-elected or think of being considered for re-election.
"Now, whether there was an agreement or not, the fact of the matter is that he has failed in very critical areas of governance. He has failed in security. He has failed in law and order. He has failed in economy. He has failed in everything that matters to a government and to the people of a country.
"Now, for me, he should not consider running but if he is determined to run and rig the election the way he did in 2011 together with INEC and security services, then he is asking for mayhem in the country and I have said it several times, if he insists on running and rigging the election, there will be mayhem.
"Now, many media people have chosen to ignore the aspect where I said if he runs and rigs the election. Let me tell you, I have been in politics for over 40 years.
"If he can decide today that there is going to be free and fair election by INEC in conjunction with the Police, the DSS, then my reaction will be let Goodluck stand for election, we will go there vote and defeat and disgrace him. But the fact of the matter is that people are very wary about the way elections have been conducted in the history of this country."
